Everything Korean...

I love everything that is linked to Korea. Its culture, food, language and most importantly, the actors/actresses and singers fascinate me. People asked me what triggered my interest in Korea? Where most people would say 'Winter Sonata,' I said, 'Full House.' That's where I was introduced to Rain, a Korean singer and actor and my craze for Korea and Koreans was launched and established for good.

Today, you can find pictures of Korean artists and their music videos on my laptop. My room is littered with Korean dramas and magazines until I have no more space nor boxes to store them. Whenever I can, I will go down to Midvalley just so I can eat Korean food there. I adore Kimchi and enjoy eating Bibimbap so much so that I'm searching the net for its recipe. There's so much more that I want to try but eating by myself is no fun and I haven't found a friend who I can bring along to sample these food. Anyone interested, please give me a buzz...Hehe!

Korean artists, however, is a different story altogether. I used to like TVXQ so much that I have a tag with individual button badges of theirs hanging in my car and their concert DVD as part of my collection. My favorite was Changmin, the 'maknae' of the group. Now, on the other hand, my attention and dedication has turned to Super Junior and my attention is focused on Eunhyuk even if he is not the most handsome one in the group. He is talented especially when it comes to dancing. He choreographs most of the dance moves for the group and they are just wonderful and excellent. He also raps and works as a DJ with Lee Teuk on SUKIRA.

As for actors, I really like Lee Min Ho because he is a good actor and he has chosen the roles he wants to portray carefully. So far, he has had 2 hit dramas. They are Boys Over Flower and Personal Taste. He also models and is involved in commercials and this is where you can see how mature he has grown since the first day he entered this field. Another actor I adore is Lee Seung Gi. He acted in Brilliant Legacy and My girlfriend is a Gumiho. I like him because he can play the part of a snobbish heir which make the viewers hate him so much and also the part of a naive and blurry yet nice guy which makes him so adorable and likable at the same time. How I wish I can meet them and say what great actors they are.

Enough about actors and let's move on to their actresses. A lot of them are talented and I particularly like Choi Ji Woo. Most of the stories she has acted in are sad stories whereby you couldn't help but shed bucket of tears once she started her crying bouts. I always make sure I have a box of tissue next to me ready to be used anytime if I'm watching her dramas. She is so good at manipulating your emotions that you couldn't help but be swept off your feet along with her. I also happened to like Lee Dae Hae because no one can beat her in a comedic role. She excels at making you laugh your heart out and in the end, your gloomy mood would just disappear into thin air.

I've talked about food, singers, actors and actresses. Now, I guess I'll move on to Korean culture and places of interest. There's so much that I want to learn and experience in terms of its culture. I want to watch the Korean traditional dance, listen to people playing traditional musical instruments and maybe learn a few traditional games. I really want to see a picture of myself wearing a Hanbok. That will surely be a sight.

I also want to explore the streets of Seoul, walk along the infamous Han river, visit the Gyeongbokgung built during the Joseon period, relax on Jeju Island and have snowball fights on Namiseon Island where Winter Sonata was filmed. All these activities, hopefully, could be done in the not so distant future with someone special and dear to me. Hehe!

My deepest wish is to visit Korea and I'm trying very hard to make it into reality. So, Korea...wait for me!!!!!!!!

Sad ma?

It's been a while since I've updated. No time la n plain lazeee. I started work at a new place recently. Was excited at first. What do u expect? New environment, new people, maybe a new scandal(if can find 1 la) and best part, better pay plus an early salary. Sape x nak kan?

Neway, after nearly a month, I got bored n felt sad. Reason, lum jumpa any close frens I can b frenli with. Ye la, semua ade bilik sendiri. So, memerap je la dalam bilik. Dulu kat KLMU, u can practically see everyone. Leh gosip dgn org yg kita nak. Now, u only meet them wen they hang out at resource center or at cafes. 2 pun kalo bump in2 each other. Kalo x, xde la. Duk la sesorg n makan pun sesorg gak. Pathetic kan?

Dlm pada duk sedih2 2, ade la 1 bte gembira. An old fren of mine just came back to M'sia. Leh la dikatakan scandal gak. Hepi la skejap. We talk n decided 2 meet soon 2 catch up on news. Sangat2 teruja ni. Xsabo nak jumpa dia n lepaskan rindu. Hahaha! Best! Sangat best!

OK la. Dah lewat ni. Wanna go sleep. Sok class kul 8.30. Xtau nak klentong ape lak kat students sok. Nite bloggers! See u all soon!

Shit!!!

Today started out pretty good. Caught the bus at 6 and arrived at 7.30. Ate something light and went to class. Plus, I got to go and see my so called new best friend, Azril. As if! Anyway, when I went back to the office, a letter was waiting for me. When I ripped it opened, I found out that it was from a law firm. I HAD TO PAY RM904 TO CIMB FOR MY CAR LOAN AND SO I BLEW MY TOP.

Anyway, I know I am pending a month's payment but certainly not 2. I went to the bank to clarify my status. Once I was at the bank, they gave me the contact no of the financing dept. I called and explained the reason for my call. It turned out, yes, that I'm a month's behind and that this month's payment was credited late. It wasn't my fault that I was late in paying. The system for hire purchase was down on the day I was supposed to pay and the next day was the weekends. The worst part was that the breakdown happened all over Malaysia. How stupid and lembab is that? Geramnya!!! Memang patut la gelarannya adalah CIMBANK. Haha!

Pas tu, I kena tanggung lak legal fees sebab surat dah kuar. Sakit tul hati. Anyway, to make it shorter, after much arguing and discussing, I compromised by saying that I'll pay the legal fees at the end of the month. Malas nak panjang2 cte. So guys, if you wanna do hire purchase, make sure you choose another bank and not CIMBANK. Gerenti you all akan kena kencing. Wakakaka!!!

New Horror Story

I love horror stories. Every time there's an interesting horror movie being shown at the cinema, I'm there to watch and comment. Some are really scary that they make you bury your head under the blanket but most are either predictable or stupid and a waste of your hard earned money.

Talking about horror stories, I once experienced a horrific event myself. It took place when I was still studying as an undergraduate. It started like this...

I came back late one night and found that my dorm mates were in my room watching TV. I joined them since there was no way I can go to sleep early. Before that, during one of our informal gatherings in my room, one of my girlfriends told me that there was a young lady going around the local universities at night in search of victims. Sounds familiar, right?

It was said that she was wearing 'purdah' and driving a Kancil. She would go knocking from door to door especially after midnight. Girls were cautioned not to go out alone or answer their doors at night. The story was that she was into black magic, specifically 'susuk' and that her practice had turned awry because she broke one of the golden rules as a 'susuk' wearer. Her face turned ugly and the only way to regain her beauty was by looking for victims who must be virgins. She was supposed to suck the blood of 40 virgin girls and only then will she get her beauty back.

Anyway, getting back to my story, I was watching something on TV with my friends when there was a knock on the door. Since I was the closest, they asked me to answer it. Without stopping to think, I opened the door and saw a girl in 'purdah' standing in front of it. I can see that her forehead was full of red pimples. Suddenly, the story about the vampire girl in 'purdah' leaped to mind and I slammed the door shut right on her face. My friends were surprised and asked me what was wrong. They could see that my expression had turned pale and I was at a lost for words. They went to the door and opened it to see what had frightened me. I couldn't stop them and when the door was once again opened, we heard...

"Adik nak beli kerepek? Macam-macam ada. Kitaorang jual ni tuk kutip derma bagi anak-anak yatim."

My friends laughed till tears ran down their checks. It turned out that she was a girl from the other dorm selling crisps and there I was thinking she was a female vampire just because her face was full of red pimples and wearing a 'purdah'. I was the butt of their jokes for weeks to come. Even thinking about it now made me feel embarrassed and upset but it was funny in its own way.

Moral of the story: Don't jump to conclusion because you can be wrong most of the time.

Pheeewww...

Hi again! Just finished class. My class was like pasar malam. The bantering, teasing and joking never stopped. I love this class for the noise and friendliness of its occupants. The fact that this class has some good looking guys is another plus factor. Miang gak I ni ek. Wakakaka! Anyway, my mood is much, much better now. No more mood swings for now and patiently waiting for my good friend to come and pick me up. Also, while waiting, I'm going to watch the Super Junior Concert in Japan on YouTube. I'm totally into EunHyuk. He's so cute and his body is gorgeous. Susah tu nak dapat 4-packs. Nampak sangat I ni into physical looks instead of inner qualities. What to do? That's me. Beauty rules over qualities. Sounds shallow, right! OK la. Need to pack since my friend is nearly here. More to come tomorrow. Nite world!

Arrggghhhh!!!!

Hi everyone! I had a good sleep last night and woke up feeling that I could conquer the world. Hehe! I'm no dictator but have the makings of being a female Hitler sometimes. Unfortunately, that didn't happen because as the day passed, my good mood turned sour. Seeing that only half of my students turned up for class made it even worse. Red alert, red alert! My mood swings are back. When this happens, I can go from being happy to sad to angry and once in a blue moon, even suicidal. Today, I'm feeling sarcastic. I've been told that I have an acidic tongue and I have to agree since I have hurt some people with sarcastic remarks before. Forgive me guys! I don't mean it most of the time but the lashing out certainly gave pleasure sometimes. Hehe! See how wicked I am. Kidding guys! Anyway, feeling much better now. Hopefully, my mood can continue to be only better after meeting my favourite class at 6. There are 54 of them and each comes with different attitudes that can make you go ga-ga. They are my Lady Gaga. Haha! I know this class will make me smile a lot with their jokes. See you in the next blog!

PS: Was just joking about the suicidal thingy.
